Amazing trip......Chris said from the beginning that we'd go to help a group of people and come away blessed ourselves. The group of people at GNBC were the best. It was such a GOD thing.....Gods hand could be seen through out the entire trip. It was hot and the work was hard, but totally rewarding. Our youth and the kids from GNBC bonded phenomenally on the very first day. It was as if they'd known each other for years. In the end a church has a new roof, and child and an adult gave their hearts to the Lord. I got to build deeper relationships with wonderful women that I will gladly serve next to any time. Great experience.....will definitely do it again.

Corpus Christi

We arrived safe and sound yesterday. The day started out eventful for Chris and Rashan, but alls well that ends well. Tire is fixed and we made it and I didn't drive at all. It was nice to be the one relaxing in the back of the car for a change. Thanks Chris!!! It's been fun so far. I'm grateful to be able to be a part of this and to have my family along. Good News Baptist Church is tiny. Our group help to fill it up this morning. The men will begin to work on the roof tonight and we'll start VBS set up. I'm looking forward to being with the kids. I'm looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us, cause I know we'll come away for here totally blessed and looking forward to the next time we do something like this.
