Here are just some random pictures of Kenadee......I love her!

Wow, what's been going on.....We seem to keep very busy around here. Always running around. Football season for high school and pee wee is just about done and I'm sad, but soon we'll be in spring football.

Last night we went to watch Paschal play it's last football game of the season. Then we met up with friends and went to a free haunted house. That was a blast. There was a total of 8 of us including a 7 year old. The 7 year old did better then some of the older ones. Pretty hilarious.

Before heading into the scary house

This is after.....wish you could see Amy's face.....she had been
CRYING!!!

Cheerfest (show off) for my cheerleaders is fast approaching. Hoping they'll get everything they need to and will look great.

Homecoming

Well Ken went to her homecoming dance Saturday night. I don't think she had much fun. She wasn't feeling well, it was hot, and she seemed bored. I chaperoned from 10pm to 1130pm. It was craziness. I didn't get one picture!! She went to get ready at a friends house so I wasn't there to bug her about pictures and when she by the time she came home she was a grouch! So no homecoming pictures.

The rain is kinda starting to bring me down. I need it to stop now so my girls can practice and learn what they need to for the pep rally this Friday. We've kept things pretty simple for them, but they need to practice. We also need to finish painting the footballs and megaphones. Ugh, so much to do so little time, but I love it! Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Here She is dress for her homecoming
game which Paschal lost....of course

Rodney

I thought I'd post a picture of Rodney for those of you who haven't seen him in a while. Here he is posing as if he's 16 years old still......he really thinks he's in his 20's not just about to be 42. Got to love him though

Homecoming

Well the first 2 days of Kens first high school spirit days have come. The first day was plaid and today is super hero.

This is what she chose for Plaid day!

Her favorite ( i don't know why) super hero
is Superman. So here she is today. She did
not wear the cap to school though.

Tomorrow she will be a nerd. Can't wait to see that!

NOT ME!!!

Ok, so I've officially not ever done a Not Me post, but here goes!

It was not me that woke up this morning at 230 am, got ready for work, cooked my breakfast, made my lunch, drove the 25 miles to work, walked in the building, only to realize i had a class this morning and didn't need to go into work. I then drove all the way home, took a nap, and got back up at 645 am to leave the house for my 8am class. I arrived at the class location at 745 am only to find out the class doesn't start until 9am.

What a Monday. I could have had so much more sleep!!!

Check out mckmama's blog to find other links to more of other peoples NOT ME.

Football and Rain

Well no great pictures from our weekend outing cause of all the rain. Friday night was the junior pep rally for the junior boys and girls. Next Friday is our pep rally. It should be fun, but I'm not sure what our girls will be doing. Yikes, we've only got 2 practice days this week. Can we say unorganized!!!!

Saturday our Longhorn boy played the Cowboys and lost. So sad, but hopefully they'll get back on track for Wednesday nights game. We've got a busy week of peewee football coming up.

I decided, spur of the moment, to get tickets to the TCU vs SMU game yesterday, it was a beating....for SMU and for us. Going to a game at the TCU stadium totally SUCKS!!!! There is absolutely NO parking down there. I guess it would have paid to get there early, but that was not possible for us. We drove around and around just looking for somewhere to park. We finally parked and made it into the game just before the second quarter. It rained and rained until halftime.....or until we were all soaked to the skin. It was great though.....TCU played an ugly game, but they beat SMU down!!!

This next week is homecoming week for Kenadee. She'll be trying to dress up for her spirit days. I'll have to have Rodney take pictures of her every morning. Their game is Friday and the dance is Saturday. She will be attending her first high school dance. I'm hoping I'll be chaperoning. Is that wrong???
