Chey spent last weekend with us.......the two girls decided they wanted to bob for apples in a bucket of ice cold water. Problem was we didn't have any apples - they bobbed for limes......and limes don't float.

Once I went to bed it appears they attacked Rodney with makeup, finger nail polish and face paint. Here are the results of that ambush.

Barbie has become Teresa

We call Kenadee Barbie or Blondie quite often, not because she's actually blonde, but because she's got really light brown hair, which to me, might as well be blonde. Well late this past summer Kenadee talked me into letting her have pink hair. Now she'd been asking me to let her dye her hair dark and than have pink highlights put through it. This summer I broke down and let her do part of that, but there was a stipulations. She could have pink hair, but it had to be under her beautiful light brown hair.

Yesterday, again, she started bugging me about dying her hair dark.......I bought hair dye for my hair, which is dark brown, and hair dye for her. The color I bought for her was a medium brown. I really had intentions of using the light color on her, but she asked again if she could have dark hair. I broke down and use the dark brown hair color on her. I figure, what the hay, hair is just an accessory, Right???! She definitely no longer looks like Barbie. She looks more like Barbie's friend Teresa. I'm afaid she'll never have light brown hair again!!!! Here are the pictures.

Cheetah Girlz - Awesome!

Ken started back to school at the end of August. She's been busy with cheerleading and school. In October I took her to see the Cheetah Girls. I know she'll stop liking the disney groups soon so I better take advantage of this time. She is cheering for the Titans at RYA. She loves it and will miss it next year. The girls had a show off performance yesterday and did amazing!!! We were a bit worried, but they managed through their entire routine. We were so excited for them......Jamie cried!!!! Big baby! lol No, really it was just pent up anxiety.

The summer was incredibly fun and busy. We kept busy spending time at Six Flags, the pool and going to a few concerts. Kenadee got to see Metro Station, Boys Like Girls, and Demi Lavato. Ken took her picture with the drummer from Boys Like Girls. She was so proud of herself and excited. Wish you could have seen her. It was that day that I truly saw her as a teenager for the first time.
